Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy provides a space to explore what’s beneath the surface: patterns, emotions, and life experiences that may be influencing how you feel, relate, or cope. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, identity-related transitions, or relational trauma, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and build lasting emotional resilience. I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches. For some, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, offers an additional pathway when traditional methods have not been enough.

I specialize in working with adults facing anxiety, depression, impostor syndrome, identity-related distress, relational trauma, and burnout. These concerns often emerge during life transitions, whether academic, professional, or personal, and can feel overwhelming or isolating. Our work will focus on both immediate support and deeper self-understanding.

I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology from William James College and completed advanced training at Harvard Medical School. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked in academic and clinical roles at institutions including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Cambridge Health Alliance, Boston University School of Medicine, and various Harvard-affiliated programs. My practice is grounded in evidence-based care and a deep understanding of the challenges high-achieving individuals face.

Sessions are 45 minutes long and take place in a private, supportive setting. You’ll have space to talk openly, reflect on current struggles, and explore how past experiences may be shaping the present. The pace is guided by your comfort and needs. Over time, we’ll work toward insight, emotional growth, and sustainable change.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit. This is a low-pressure opportunity to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and explore whether working together feels right. If it doesn’t, I’m happy to refer you to trusted colleagues. To schedule, just send a message or call.

I’m in-network for student health plans at Tufts University and Boston College. For all other plans, I’m considered an out-of-network provider. Many clients receive partial reimbursement through their insurance’s out-of-network benefits. I provide superbills for monthly submission. It’s best to check with your insurance to confirm what’s covered.
