Hi! I’m Dr. Terán, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals like yourself navigate the complexities of life. Whether you’re in the bustling cities of Massachusetts or New York, grappling with anxiety, depression, relational trauma, low self-esteem, impostor syndrome, stress, burnout, or exploring ketamine-assisted psychotherapy – I’m here to support you.

My mission is to compassionately guide you on a personalized journey of hope, healing, and transformation through innovative therapies.

Navigating Life’s Tightrope

Life often feels like a tricky balancing act, a bit like walking a tightrope. Managing work, academics, and personal life can be overwhelming. I get it; I’ve been there too – juggling academic and professional responsibilities while nurturing a satisfying personal life and meeting family obligations. The pressure is real, and I’ve experienced the struggle firsthand.

Believe in Your Growth

I genuinely believe in your potential for remarkable growth through therapy. It’s not just about overcoming challenges; it’s about creating a more satisfying, connected, and fulfilling life. If you’re ready to take the leap into this transformative journey, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.

Unveiling My Professional Journey

I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from William James College and completed a specialized fellowship in psychotherapy at Harvard Medical School. My work has gained recognition from Harvard Medical School, Columbia University, and the American Psychological Association.

My training covers a variety of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, traumatic stress, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

This diversity allows us to customize your treatment, aligning it with your preferences and goals for the most effective strategies in your personal growth and healing.

Beyond the Practice

Outside my clinical work, I’ve been on the faculty at Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston University School of Medicine, University of Massachusetts – Boston, and William James College. Teaching and mentoring the next generation of therapists and healthcare providers has kept me updated on the latest research and best practice in mental health and overall well-being.
